- 2 cups elbow macaroni
- 4 cups water
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon mustard powder optional
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Add the elbow macaroni to the Instant Pot.
Pour in 4 cups of water and add salt and butter.
Close the lid and set the valve to sealing.
Select the manual setting and cook on high pressure for 4 minutes.
Once the cooking time is up, do a quick release of the pressure.
Open the lid and stir the macaroni.
Add garlic powder, onion powder, and mustard powder if using.
Gradually mix in the cheddar and Parmesan cheeses.
Stir until the cheeses are fully melted and creamy.
Adjust seasoning if needed and serve hot, garnished with parsley.
